Client Account Associate – New Technology

Muhlbauer, Inc seeks to hire a Client Account Associate – New Technology for its Newport News, Virginia location to acquire new customers and support - visit and strategically develop relationships with existing customers. The Ideal candidates have strong sales experience, including international sales.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers, support - visit and strategically develop relationships with existing customers, in the North American region as well as internationally in the New Technology (fuel cell, battery) market segment

  • Establish long-term partnerships across all hierarchical levels

  • Prepare proposals, implement and follow up, conduct price and contract negotiations until successful contract award

  • Take full responsibility for your customer base - from initial contact to price and contract negotiations with support from our internal legal department

  • Support customers and other sales colleagues by becoming an expert with the SMART FACTORY software product MB Palamax

  • Attend technical conferences and participate in national and international events as well as trade shows and webinars

  • Conduct regular market and competitive intelligence and corresponding

Job Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree or, successfully completed technical or commercial training with corresponding further training

  • Sales experience (international sales experience is a plus)

  • Confident and professional appearance as a representative Muhlbauer Inc.

  • Business fluent in written and spoken English as well as a high intercultural competence

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel locally and internationally
