Field Service Technician

Muhlbauer, Inc. seeks to hire a Field Services Technician located in the Washington, D.C. area to install, troubleshoot, and provide training on machines and systems. The ideal candidates have skills in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and software. Candidates would also be proactive, self-motivated, and organized with their work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of the machines and systems (in house and at the customer side)

• Acceptance and training for the systems at the customer site

• Reparation and maintenance of running systems

• Production and hotline support

• Follow appropriate procedures for each service event

• Complete appropriate written documentation and feedback for service interventions

Job Requirements, Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, advanced degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a plus

• Two or more years of experience with maintenance for machinery

• Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to travel frequently for weeks at a time, training will be conducted in Germany

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must be able to pass applicable background screenings and obtain clearance as required
